Hold the phone! Dax Shepard wasnโt ready to settle down when he first started dating now wife Kristen Bell.
The actress revealed to Popsugar that Shepard actually dumped her days before they got serious.
โWe were dating for about three months, and I already knew that I was in love with him and he was hesitant because he knew he was still dating other people,โ Bell recalled. โHe sat me down and said, โI canโt have this right now. I think youโre wonderful, but I am still dating other people.โ And then I, like, liquefied and fell to the ground, but I felt incredibly respected that he had the balls to tell me we werenโt in the same place.โ
Shepard โ thankfully โ realized his mistake, Bell continued, and called her four days later.
โHe called me and he was like, โI donโt know what I was thinking. I was dating someone else but theyโre just not as interesting as you, and I donโt know what Iโm doing,โ and he came back,โ she said. โBut I still always remind him of when he broke up with me.โ
