It’s back! The fifth annual Great Dayton Adventure Race returns to the DP&L Summer in the City lineup!!
Saturday,June 1, from 2 to 6 p.m.
Assemble your team of 1-4 people, and explore downtown businesses and amenities on a scavenger hunt-style race. Search for clues and complete challenges while discovering new places and navigating the city. Teams can start anytime during the event, but you must have your clue sheet turned in by 6 p.m. Registration and race start will take place on Fifth Street in the Oregon District between Jackson and Pine streets.
All teams are eligible for raffle prizes! Check the board when you return your clue sheet to see if you’ve won. Think you really know downtown?
Register for the competitive division and try to beat the clock for a chance at a cash bonus! First place in the competitive division takes home $250 in cash; second and third get $150 and $100, respectively.
This year, we’re closing the street and offering live entertainment to cap off the race! Enjoy a beer at the street party, grab dinner at a nearby restaurant, go back to a cool, new spot you discovered on the race, or check out who’s playing at the free concert at the Levitt Pavilion nearby. Any option is a great way to end your Saturday night in downtown Dayton.
