What a way to spend your first birthday... Ava had to go to the ER early on Saturday morning. She went to the park on Friday and scraped up her paws so they were bleeding. Not a big deal but then we woke up Saturday and she was vomiting twigs and bark every hour. They gave her some fluids and stuff, she's still a bit off but feeling much better.
I took advantage of this beautiful weather and went to walk Lake of the Isles. We saw these weird ice things that kinda looked like a seance was happening.
Tis the season! I got my first shamrock shake of the year.
Even though she was sick, we still did a small birthday celebration for Ava girl.
We (mainly Alyssa, I just helped season the meat) tried a new recipe for shrimp and steak alfredo. It was DELICIOUS!
