if U liked 'Bird Box', add 'The Silence' to ur Netflix Binge ASAP
Call it what you want, I'm a sucker for a good thriller. I LOVED 'Bird Box' so much-- and quite frankly, was a bit freaked out by it. (the BF fell asleep while watching-& i legit had to stop it and re-watch when he was awake-- i was low key shook) There's just something about end of the world movies that drawn me in.
Some rando on my Facebook feed recommended the new Netflix original movie 'The Silence' & promised it had major 'Bird Box' vibes. Of course & conveniently, the next day it showed up on my suggestion box on Netfilx (#creepy).
It did not disappoint ...it was very much like 'Bird Box' but instead of not being able to LOOK at things you cant make NOISE. Yes, also kinda like the movie 'A Quiet Place' that was in theaters a few years back. Seems that sensory end of the world movies are the new trend and honestly, i'm all here for it.
